BOOK REVIEW: MAYBE SOMEDAY

 

"Sometimes in life, we need a few bad days in order to keep the good ones in perspective."

Maybe Someday is a romantic novel by Colleen Hoover. It is a world-famous novel because of its storyline and ending.

East to West and North to South, all-around l read was how worth reading this book is. But l was all in course books and my other list of novels. I regret it now, why l tossed it off and picked at the end of 2020.

I love the writing style of Colleen Hoover. The way she writes a novel with all her heart. Every reader will get full attention to the novel till he/she reaches the last pages of this novel.

I read some books before from Colleen Hoover's Hopeless series. But after a long time, this novel put me to go through so much.

"Words can sometimes have a far greater effect on a heart than a kiss."

I can't deny on Colleen's all books into the romantic genre especially. But despite romantic scenes. If you read this book l think you will love it all your life. Even like me include it into one of your good read romantic novels list.

Although, the Story of this novel is far so different for me. I never read such a story like dea* hero, Ridge. I am not even feeling ok to say this. But it's true.
Sidney was the all-time best. But still, Colleen makes the reader (like me) to love every character of this novel.

Each chapter thrilled me, then the next chapter came up tenser to me. The suspense grew more, where after reading half of the novel, it shifts the whole story upside down.

I don't like at one point to Ridge when said harsh goodbye. But again l inside satisfied with it.

I think every loyal woman loves his husband more than anything in the world, so in any way, he will never wish to share with anyone.
But Sidney and Ridge's honesty is understandable. So l can't explain in a few words how l experience this novel.

"God, I hate feelings. Or I hate my conscience. The two are constantly at war."

One of Sidney's dialogue, l thought it's for me. "It is scaring the living shit out of me." Cried so hard and no one was there to share with. But l again loved it. I am emotional that's my fault, not this book. So take it easy.

"Nothing in my life has ever felt so good yet hurt so achingly bad."😢

Last but not least, in every way Colleen did her best to justice between Sidney and Maggie.  That's why the ending of the novel is what more cute, hear touching but happy and Sad mixture. When they waited longer, the moments he plays the guitar, the way Colleen wrote the Lyrics of the songs related to the story, all are the best things.

"I feel like my maybe someday just became my right now."💕

Nor any spoiler, neither exaggeration of a word. Read the book, you will love it.
